The Lock Collector is the official journal of the association.
Issued quarterly, it aims to provide a focus for high quality research and discussion, edited by our Secretary, Tony Beck. It contains articles contributed by leading experts with a full knowledge of the history and advancement of lock and key making, and who are themselves Collectors.
The journal's pages are illustrated throughout with colour photographs that help the reader to better appreciate the text content. From the first issue being penned in September 2003 with just six pages and sent to a handful of readers in the UK, the journal has grown rapidly with the January 2007 issue covering twenty pages and being read by over 70 subscribers worldwide. Access to the online edition is included in the association membership fee, and an option to receive a full colour paper copy is available.
A free sample issue is available for inspection.
